Hello, may we introduce you to our new directory that we think is more than just a directory. Why? Because we aim to make this web site a community-on-Line. Here we hope not only to bring together the businesses and goods that the public are seeking but to make this a site where anyone can come to find information about the West Country. Things like What’s on, Places of Worship, Help Lines, Information Bureau, Attractions, Happenings and anything else that we can find. For this to work we need your input with any details you would like to see in the directory.

We will be moving towards having a Bulletin Board and Forums which could have postings like ‘please help me with my computer query’. We already have a postcard site, various news on line and TV listings, a guestbook for you to sign and a link to MultiMaps to find anywhere in GB. . There is a page which can be used as your home page with links to search engines and a write up of how to use Explorer and Outlook Express.

Hopefully we will also be useful for business to business interaction like finding some requirement nearer home than London or Newcastle. Maybe there could be a special forum for businesses with specific requests for procurement or information.
